Although I don't play GoW or have an Xbox, this might interest those that do out there. I've seen the commercials advertising that if you buy GoW from Circuit City, you'll get 1600 MS points free. I'm pretty sure the commercial said something about having to buy it either Friday or Saturday but I'm not positive. Here's a little thing on it from G4 website.

I love RB2 it will get best Music Game of the Year.

But, GoW2 will be the game that all others will be judged by.

This game will no doubt blow Halo 3 sales records out the water.

It will also be the Highest Played Online Game Ever.

Horde Mode = Shats Pants Fest.

Other devs will cry they didn't think of it first.

I'm at Best Buy at 9:00 A.M to pick up my copy and cant wait to kill some Locust Scum.

Anyways, I dont see it breaking what Halo did first day, but I think it will outsell it eventually.

Well I played through the entire campaign already (Yeah Midnight launch, Boo Sleep) and the game feels epic. It seems so much bigger than the last Gears, and there are tons of holy crap moments. You literally fight any giant thing you find and not in the crappy Corpser fight from the first one way. I loved the single player on Co-op and I can't wait for the next one.

My brothers are enjoying it thoroughly... I think I might pick it up when it gets cheaper along with Gears one JUST for the Campaign... nothing more. I'm not much for online competition it's just full of arrogant you know whats...

Might do Horde or Campaign online but that's the extent of it

Well....you can say the same thing about Halo, yet that kept on making more money with every new entry.

Having said that, no, Gears isn't going to blow Halo sales out of the water, but I'm going to grow the sickest beard when I play through it, it's so awesome.

I can't get it til my wife gets paid next week. :( it's been a rough month for me. I've already got RB 2,GHWT wich i returned lol, AC/DC rock band, 400 AC/DC tickets, Kiss base,Fallout 3,Wii music and Resistance 2. I'll have to wait to get GOW and Call of duty. haha I said duty :)

Submission has to be the most sadistic mode of online play I've ever done.

Man I love this game so much. All of the modes of online play are great and I enjoy the new ranking system a lot. The campaign is a lot longer and in my opinion, a lot harder. The part in Act 3 with the Sires on Insane is one of the craziest things I've ever done. I plan on finishing the campaign soon (25% of the way through Act 4 when friend had to leave and Insane=Me getting pwned), and if anyone wants to join in that would be awesome.

I feel like giving it a 10 but I know I can't so if I'm going by Game Informer ratings, I'd give it a 9.75. Fin.

Id MAYBE give it a 9.5.

There are a lot of minor glitches on some multiplayer maps, not to mention the Matchmaking is usually slow as hell.
