yikes, i hated the original (i disliked that whole album) but that's a really rough cover.

took awhile to get used to the post-reunion style, but it definitely has a place in my collection. i love jeremy's voice so much, that it still works. i guess if they still sounded like they did in 1993, we would complain about that... i like this album, but i did love how it feels to be something on...

i dig about half of "how it feels" and i think "guitar and video games" is actually one of my favorite SDRE songs overall, but i'll definitely stick to the early records 9 times out of 10.

No, totally wrong. The only good cover that Paramore's put out is the cover of Stuck on You. Of course, I tend to dislike covers in general, but to say that the Paramore cover is better than the SDRE version is just stupid. Not that the cover is bad. Of course, it's not a very good SDRE song either.

Avril Lavigne's cover of Metallica's "Fuel" is pretty horrible.

And Flyleaf's cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is the worst I've cover I've EVER heard from a major-label artist.

Paramore's are pretty bad too though.
