Just wondering if this is common/normal. I have the PS3 version and behind the strum bar it sounds like something is moving around. I noticed it at first while playing, and if I give it a little shake it sounds like theres something moving around loosely.
Anyone else care to share on theirs?

I heard the same in mine. Thought it was a loose screw but its actually the overdrive sensor I think there are little ball bearings inside them and when you move it they touch and make a connection signal to activate overdrive or some such.

I too had this exact same thing right out of the box. you could hear something rattling when you move the guitar around. We were going to just leave it there but then our whammy bar spring broke. This also happened to 1 of our gh2 wireless guitars. So we opened it up and found the screw and then rewrapped the spring. It works now but it is not the same and it will break again. This happened all after our foot pedal broke in 2 and my hubby broke a drumstick. Are we supposed to be able to play this game or use it as a coaster. I've never paid $180 for something and had it break in 3 days.

Well, I'm pretty sure you breaking a drumstick isn't the makers of the games fault. The things seem pretty solid.

I have a perfectly functioning guitar for the PS3 and it makes that rattle noise. My suggestion would be to just leave it alone if everything else is working.

My guitar rattled as well when taking it out of the box, and my over drive does not work properly. I called EA, with in a 4 min coversation they said they would send me a pre-paid shipping lable and box to send it in with and then they would send me a new guitar. Or I could of given them a credit card number and they would put a pending charge on it and send me a new guitar right away. If I would of sent in the broken guitar with in 28 days, I would of gotten no charges to my card.

I am not sure if I will get the pr4e-paid box, but itf I do without any issues, EA is being FANTASTIC about this.
