WTF-wheres my old songs---please read

ok so this morning I downloaded my free 20 songs and all of my imported rb1 songs and other dlc are no where to be found...wtf! someone help me...please

not sure why they would disapper, did you scroll all the way down? you might just have it at the bottom in a different sorting kinda thing

yeah i only have the songs i have unlocked so far on rb2 and 20 dlc the songs that i just downloaded...another wonderful problem with rb

might have to just redownload them all, try downloading a coulple songs and see if they show up.

how do i get my rb1 songs back?

just pop in the disc again and re rip them, you bought the license once, that is always there, you might have to redownload the license but you wont have to buy it again, if like me you sold it(the game) just rent it again or borrow from someone, or buy from gamestop, you can return for full refund before 7 days is up.

did you try downloading one or two songs to see if that worked first? and sorry your having a bad day, just trying to help, are you sure that you didnt delete the rb save file? or soemthing?

Hey lush_dawg, I realize you're upset but this is, really, the FIRST reported case of someone's downloads "mysteriously disappearing" that I've heard. Can you walk through the steps of what you're doing? Are you on the PS3 or Xbox 360?

i had a computer business for about 7 years, i know exactly what you mean, god mamn, i told you not to do that for the tenth damn time, yes ill fix it AGAIN. lol

ok, so here goes. i go to acct management, redeem codes, enter my code in my email and proceed to download songs. thats it. I go to rockband to check em out and i have only songs that are unlocked and the 20 free downloads. i did not accidently erase anything...

Hmmm... Maybe that 1 outta 100 case where it isn't his fault. ;)

I would try deleting the song cache file and then going in to the music store in game. IIRC, that rebuilds the list of DLC you have.

Don't delete the save data, but there should be another file like song cache, or music library cache or something. Not in front of my 360 to confirm.

im on ps3 too, didnt have any problem when i downloaded the new songs, really not sure, and it will take an hour probably to download all the songs , as for the rb1 disc, well thats a diff story, any friend around you got a copy?

yeah i feel yeah, where im at no one even has a 360 let alone a ps3 and setup like i got, lol, but is great for rock band parties.

Please think before you post. Normally, that would've garnered a temp-ban at the very least but I understand you're a bit frustrated.

Unfortunately, I'm not the mod with the best PS3 knowledge here. If you can't sort it out soon, shoot an e-mail over to support@harmonixmusic.com. That'll get to our PS3 team and they can try and work it out with you.

I thought the fine print of the export key for the RB1 songs said to for the exported songs to remain legal you must keep RB1. So if you don't have the disc, you shouldn't be upset that you lost illegal songs anyway. IIRC, that was part of the license of the export key and I worked at HMX and saw your post on this forum I'm be asking Sony to ban your account from PSN. But, that is me.

I hope you have to buy RB1 again to get them.
