WoW downloading so slow?

I am a subscriber to WoW.
This shouldn't be illegal so w/e

anyways i'm at my dads house and downloading WoW with the blizzard downloader, It's not even done with the first original WoW and it still has 8 HOURS to go?

My dads computer is excellent, only about a year old and was top of the line back then.

his internet's not horrible.

I opened ports 37 something
and 6112.

ALSO it says its still behind a firewall when I opened the slots

it says open 6881 through 6999 but I have no idea how, i'm not opening 100 slots individually

is there anyway to speed up the download? D:

Not really, it's ALOT of information. I'm glad I still have the CD's. If you plan to D/L Lich King instead of getting the retail copy then prepare for a even longer download. It's as big as the Vanilla Wow Client.


Also, patching is gonna take a while :(

at this rate i'll be able to play it for 5 minutes before going home to my lame 2001 computer at my moms house which gets 5 fps in the outside :/
