Can somebody help me?

I can't figure out how to be the leader when i play online with other players. As soon as somebody joins my online band they become the leader and always get to choose the songs we play. Can anybody tell me how I can keep that from happening?

I think it defaults to the best quality connection for the "leader". Could be part of how they keep the lag down.
