PS2 version online capable?

I really like the premise of Rock Band, but all I own is a Wii and a PS2, and I'm too poor to buy a 360/PS3 AND Rock Band. I'm also too impatient to wait for the Wii version. I know DLC isn't available for PS2 and that's OK since it's not a big selling point for me, but is the PS2 version online capable? If it isn't, then I'll probably wait for the Wii version.

Also is there some place I can compare the graphics between the PS2 and other versions of the game?
