I think he has the standalone game with no RB instruments that come in the bundle. In which case, he should enjoy his shiny new coaster until 2008 when standalone instruments are available.

Why would you say your screwed ,you still have 3 man band.But......when you strat goes then your screwed.

Your only option right now would be to buy the bundle again. What with the number of drum sets that have failed, it couldn't hurt to have a backup, and you could always sell the second standalone game brand new on Ebay to some fool ;)

To be honest, I'd have expected a patch to let the GH3 controller work in Rock Band by now. Either that or somehow get the PS2 to PS3 converters to work properly so those guitars can be used. Not being able to do both though, almost makes you feel like they're going out of their way to frustrate PS3 owners since 360 owners can do both.

Either way, they need a solution, and fast.

I mean my friends and I want to start a band, and of course nobody wants to sing, we just want Bass, Guitar and Drums. So i guess I can get on my knees and pray for a patch or look to ebay to save me.
