Ive got the adapter tightly connected to the headset and the tightly connected to my guitar. Yet, i cant hear anyone and no one can hear me. I've tried many different things. Im assuming theres something stupid im missing but any help is appriciated. Thanks!

Might I add, I've tested the headset to make it still works on the controller so I know the headset is not broken.

I am having a similar problem as well. I've tried both of the included connectors and neither will work on both the drum and the guitar. I've noticed when I unplug and plug back in the connector it records a noise so im thinking the problem is with the connector... waht are the odds of getting two faulty connections?

I am having the same problem but only with my drums. I can't get any of my headsets to work, I have 3 sets plus the one that came with the 360 keyboard. They all seem to work in the guitar but not the drums.

I too am having problems with the headset adapter for online chatting purposes (not singing) by plugging into the drums. has anyone been able to get this to work?

I am having the same problem. None of the adapters work on the drums or on the guitar, and the headset works fine when plugged on the controller. I tried the 'pull really hard' technique mentioned in other posts but still no success.

A wireless headset would fix the problem? Does it connect straight to the console or would I have to plug something in the drum kit like a receiver? I never saw a wireless headset...

there's another thread going on about this already, but basically you need to just plug/unplug that little adaptor wire a bunch until you hear a soft "click" sound in your headset...I'm not using those black plastic clips...i just plug straight into the adaptor wire, and then move it around inside the jack to get it to stay connected...

something is funky with either the adaptor cable, or jack on the instruments...im going to try to replace the cable with one from Radio Shack and post my findings.
