xbox 360 rb2 drums won't connect anymore

My rb2 wireless drum set isn't connecting to my wireless gaming receiver for my pc. The light around the X button stays lit and holding the connect/sync button doesnt make it search for a signal anymore. Holding the X button used to make the lights go off then come back on one by one, but now it stays lit while the X button is pressed.

I've had this set hooked up to a 360 and my pc for the past few days but I left it on after a song and now it's completely unresponsive. is there something I can do to fix it or do I have to get it replaced?

this problem is happening off and on. sometimes i'll take the batteries out and turn it on and it'll work, sometimes it won't.

there's gotta be a surefire way to get it working again without
aimlessly messing with it. i can't be the only person with this problem... someone has to have figured this out by now!

Why are you trying to connect them to a PC? I've had the wireless gaming receiver before and it's known to have quite a few issues. I couldn't get my controller connected without rebooting my PC. I got rid of it. Do your drums stay connected to your Xbox?
