LOST: "You All Everybody" by Drive Shaft

As far as I can tell, there hasn't been a dedicated thread for this song, but it certainly deserves one. First there was "Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld" from South Park, then "Still Alive" from Portal, then "Charlene (I'm right behind you)" from The Colbert Report. Now, there must be "You All Everybody" from the seminal TV show LOST.

Who doesn't want to here the hit single off of Drive Shaft's platinum selling debut album 'Oil Change'?

And Harmonix... LOST fans, if they could be turn, could make powerful allies....



OH! And "Dayman" by Electric Dream Machine from 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'. I mean.... he's a master of karate and friendship, for everyone!

Lol, yeah we definitely need You All Everybody. There are SO many Lost fans, so fair amount of people would download it, plus it's a really fun song. =)

One question though: Would you want this to be a free DLC or not?

I think it should be free, the same way Still Alive, Charlene and Promised Land were because of their involvement in an external project. And I'm sure the LOST producers would be willing to do the same, especially as the series comes back in January.

But I know that I personally would pay anything for this song. Seeing my RB2 avatar rocking out to Drive Shaft with the Dharma logo I made on his guitar.... well that would be LOST heaven.

LOST Fun Fact: DriveShaft is based on Oasis. As a result of this, "You All Everybody" sounds like "Rock N' Roll Star".

This is officially my new favorite thread. I am a Lost fanatic. That we need this song is a given, free or not.

Another fun fact: The title/chorus of the song comes from a backstage running joke some of the writers and cast members had.

So yes, a Charlie Pace memorial DLC tribute would be appropriate.

Yeah, Charlie is based on Noel Gallagher, and his brother Liam is (obviously) based on Liam Gallagher.

There are instances in Charlie's flashbacks that resemble incidents in Oasis' history.

Another fun fact: In the season 3 episode in which Desmond Hume jumps between 2004 & 1996, he runs into Charlie playing his guitar on the street. The song Charlie is playing is "Wonderwall".
