What's your opinion on this situation?

Well, I had a "friend" (I was just friends with me really for no reason he thought we were, and all the people he thought were his friends that were mine think the same way) who I can't stand now. He is oblivious, extremely rude, obnoxious and only cares really for himself in situations. He is also EXTREMELY annoying... (For example: When he gets a new game you can't pay attention during a class you have with him because he has to explain every detail to you.)

Secondly, he mistreats his parents horribly. I've seen his parents before, who are divorced (no remarries), and they are some of the nicest people. They spoil him a lot and are the model parents. He tells us every day how he hates them so much and how he would rather live with a rapist because his parents care a lot about his grades. Apparently, he can't do any after school activities because his parents think he needs time to study and do homework over things that will help you get into college (the end is sarcasm.) Every day he makes a new story about his parents suck.

So during lunch (btw he over exaggerates just as much) he was stealing people's fries. I decided to steal one of his fries. He went crazy (He's weak) and decided to jump on top of me and do girly nerdy slaps. I hit him in the chest with my elbow and he fell back and he started yelling like crazy and saying swares. He continued to mutter swares and be a jerk all lunch.

10 minutes ago:

Well rewind more for a sec; We played Gears 2 the Friday it came out over my house because all of my other friends were hitting up. He took complete control of the Xbox and wanted a certain achievement in Halo 3 that day. Toke 2 1/2 hours. He also hogged a lot of the certain weapons for the Gears achievements becuase he is an achievement whore.

10 minutes ago again: Sends me a message on Xbox Live as follows

thanks for fufuilling that promiseof logging me on so i couldsave all my data and achiements and not spend 10 hours redoing it all. your areal pal

What it means: I must have forgot, he wanted me to log on his account over xbox live on my xbox before he logged back on so he could transfer over those all important achievements.I send back: np

Not really. Just ignore him, works for me. Try to cut off all communications, and when he tried to talk to you IRL just ignore him.

There was a guy like that I knew a couple years ago. He just did not know when to shut up, LOL. What I did was I stopped talking to him. Whenever he said something to me, I just ignored it. He stopped trying after a while.

Alternatively, you can make his life miserable with pranks, insults, and so on.

Tell him that you cannot continue being his Friend, because you are mature, and cannot spend any more time with someone who is obviously an immature asshat, that will not amount to the time that has been wasted on this "Friendship". Bid him good day, and walk away. I SAID GOOD DAY!

Srsly, do that in front of your other mutual Friends, and he will either get the picture, or change the person that he is, although the latter will most likely not happen, either way, Win Win. and if all else fails, WHOOP HIS ASS. ;)
