Playing Well Losing Fans??? HELP

Me and my friend have been playing through the multi world tour with bass&guitar on hard and medium, and we have been playing and finishing different gigs well but at the end we are losing fans could someone tell me WHY???? i'm very confused... and it is not the fan cap because it has not said anything about that

Are you restarting and/or failing songs a lot? Even if you just restart or quit a song without failing, you will lose fans.

Perhaps your band was a fad and they are over it. Maybe you should re-invent yourselves.

i have heard it only counts the lowest difficulty, so if u were both on hard and got a nice fan base, if 1 of u goes back to medium then ur fan base may be over the limit of the medium fan base and goes down to reflect that

I am not sure if that is it as on some songs like Never get fooled again, I have had to drop to medium to get through it and my son stayed on hard on guitar. We did not lose fans we just did not gain any. So I do not think that would be why you are losing fans. Sounds really weired!

if you're dropping the difficulty as you progress that could be what's causing it. i'm still playing on medium with the drums while my roommate is playing hard on the guitar so we have gotten to a point where we can't get any more fans until i raise my difficulty higher than medium. right after you finish a set where it says you have lost fans, does it mention anything about increasing your difficulty to gain fans? mine says it every time.

I don't think dropping your difficulty hurts you, it just stops you from adding fans. I played for a bit on expert guitar/vocals, and then got tired of the challenge, so I've been racking up some easy stars by dropping the vocals down to medium, and guitar down to hard, and I haven't lost any fans, despite being over the cap for hard, and way over the cap for medium.
