Hey, I play drums in real life and I am getting Rock Band soon so i am very curious as to how the drums in Rock Band work.
I know there are the four pads and the foot pedal, but what part of the kit does each drum pad represent?
I mean I suppose it would make sense if the pad all the way to the right is high hat/ride...
Then the left-most pad would be the snare...Of course i could be wrong about all these guesses.
What are the toms and crashes?
How do the fills work...? And do the drum pieces change during different parts of the song?
Feedback would be appreciated!

Hey Man whats up? Us Drummers have to stick together so I will answer your questions. Being that you are a drummer like me, you should be at home behind this kit. The red pad(far right) is always snare. The yellow Pad acts as High hat and tom, the Blue pad acts as ride and tom and the green pad acts as a crash and tom. Now understand that depending on the song you are playing determines the roles of the pads at that time. If you have seen a roland electric set when they were all rubber pads a few years ago, then you are basicly seeing the RB kit. One thing to be careful of is the pedal. My pedal cracked in half on the second day. EA has another on on the way and I should get it tomorrow. However it seems that all of the equipmwnt that was made early was a little weaker than the stuff they are replacing it with. However being that you will get it Monday and it will be the second wave of shipments, you may have all the new stuff with no hitches. I hope this has answered your questions. Feel free to hit me up on here or live anytime. The GamerTag is the same as my name here CENACHAINGANG54. Have fun my friend and keep Rocking!!:D
