Second Heat is such a sick speed album. Make that your next review.

    Paul Gilbert
Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar
    Fuzz Universe
    Get Out Of My Yard

    Racer X

    Street Lethal
    Superheroes
    Technical Difficulties

As for not liking his vocals, no surprise, it turns a lot away.
I love his vocals personally, the pop tendencies are awesome, it stops it from becoming stagnant.
I love a lot of shred and he's one of my fave cuz it sounds fun, likely early Satriani but better.

If you were willing to hear more of his vocals I'd also recommend Space Ship One and Burning Organ.

    tldr:Paul Gilbert=Win.

I wouldn't say he sucks at singing, because he can at least hold a tune. But I found it bland and kinda forgettable. But I will check out those instrumentals too.

I'll also be reviewing Second Heat.

You give him that much at least, Ive heard there are some people who refuse to listen to some of his most awesome songs, purely cuz he sings....it's stupid to say the least.

Edit: House ala-Discovery era Daft Punk?

Double Edit: And Dance/Pop akin to O-Zone?

I'd point out other Eurobeat and Italodisco artists as being good places to look next... Dave Rodgers, Domino, Dusty, and Mega N.R.G. Man, for instance.

For Sick Puppies, pretty average radio rock like Shinedown, Nickelback, Theory Of A Deadman, Hinder, etc. I put them in that same group. Their most recent album Tri-Polar is a nice intro into them though.

Sounds good to me. Shinedown is one of my favorite bands.

    EDIT: That just leaves
    Maroon 5
    Chiodos.

(If they're bad, just say so.)

Honestly, I really got into Eurobeat through the Super Eurobeat series of albums... they're more or less compilation albums released on a roughly monthly basis, but they're a good place to look (especially considering they're relatively easy to find online compared to the albums by individual artists).

Either Mezzanine or Blue Lines is a good place to start.
