I'd say start with Out of the Blue, A New World Record, and Time, and then move to their first four albums (their two self-titled albums, On The Third Day, and Eldorado).

Looking for some good thrash metal, outside of the obvious (like Slayer, Megadeth, Overkill, Testament, and the like), but nothing too obscure. Any recommendatins?
Gama Bomb, Realm (US), Flotsam and Jetsam's first album.
Completely ignoring the "nothing too obscure" sentence because it's stupid.
Stone - No Anaesthesia!
Vektor - Black Future
Violator - Chemical Assault
Holy Moses - Finished With the Dogs
Evil Army - Evil Army
Pyrotoxic - Cursed Midnight
A.R.G. - One World Without the End
Will check all of them out, but I stand by my opinion about the obscurity. I'm not saying I don't like obscure music, as that's limited, but I generally like to, when exploring a genre, listen to the mainstream first, then the not as popular but still well-known, and then down to the obscure.
