Yeah but why go through that long-ass thread when I can just ask you guys here.:p
Thanks for the drone choices a few pages back, as well. I'm going to have to play my last fm in a few minutes to check out most of these new additions.

You don't need to read the whole thread, the OP has all the recs you need along with links to the albums. :) (well, not all of the recs you need, but more than enough to get you started)
And to afterstasis, I'd honestly be disappointed if you didn't have more shoegaze than me. I do a lot of my shoegaze listening on last.fm, though, especially for newer bands.
Loving the Jesu. Good Oxbow album? (If you haven't noticed, I'm going through the Hydra Head bands I haven't heard.)
Trying this again.
I really like Drive Like Jehu, are there any other Post-Hardcore bands that really retained that raw Punk sound and energy like DLJ?
Also, I really like the minimalism in Arthur Russell's World of Echo, what's a good place for minimalism in that vein?
Didn't know about Jawbox and someone I know listens to Nation of Ulysses, but I never really investigated. I haven't really checked out Fugazi and Refused either, but I know of the bands.
What albums should I start with?
If I want to discover
-The rolling stones ( I like Giime shelter, sympathy for the devil, satisaction and paint it black)
-Led zeppelin ( I only like Stairway to heaven)
-Pink floyd (I only like money)
Which songs whould I listen? There are three bands that I can't understand their music. Before that was the beatle but rock band the beatles changed my opinon of them.
