i hate when people call albums CD's, they come in different formats now than just CD's, i think it seems kind of juvenille to call them that /opinonrant

Duran Duran - Start with Rio (perhaps my favourite pop album of the 80s). Their self-titled debut is very good as well (a bit more New Wave-y), and Seven and the Ragged Tiger is decent. The rest of their albums are pretty blech.

    thanks! :D

 Does not compute. I dig UN, but it doesn't compute with the genres.

    Anyway

    Cobalt - Gin
    Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger
    Burzum - Filosofem
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

Grindcore (warning, I'm not well-versed here, so I'll throw out a whole two good albums)

That's not black metal, grindcore, or death metal. Also, there are far better emo-violence albums.

Did I even have any Ex Dementia plays before last night? My listening to them had been limited to streaming until I got The Red Mass on CD yesterday. Talk about stalking!
