EDIT: Probably starter albums for the genre preferably, I'm kind of a noob to the genre.

I'm not that familiar with Glassjaw, or much "post hardcore" for that matter, but The Fall of Troy is (was :() an excellent band often classified as "post hardcore". Check out either their self-titled album or Doppelganger, they're both great.

Between Herzeleid and Mutter, Herzeleid is more electronic-y, but get both I guess.

No way, go with Gish or Siamese Dream Grimman.

Seeing as FlyGuy recommended my White Stripes picks, I'll return the favor by recommending Mutter as a good starting point for Rammstein. Volkerball is good also if you don't mind starting on live albums; it gives a pretty good cross-section of the band's material.

I'm not too into neo-blues stuff, but Robert Cray's "Strong Persuader" album is essential.

    And general kick-ass blues stuff:

    Little Walter
    Robert Johnson
    Leadbelly
    Muddy Waters
    Blind Lemon Jefferson
    Jimmy Reed
    Sleepy John Estes
    Sonny Boy Williamson
    Big Bill Broonzy
    Jimmy Rogers

And stay away from BB King, Eric Clapton, ect... if you know what's good for you!

Start sequentially with Gish and stop at Mellon Collie. Maybe sample a few tracks off Adore.
