I have noticed that alot of peps in this forum have moved themselves to the XBox area.... I myself will be playing in both areas and will not be leaving here, I hope that those who are still here will not be leaving and will be willing to use this area more often so we can all hook up one time or another to jam when we can. Please try and keep OMB alive and not let the little things like HOPS on the game screen get in the way.

Talk to you all soon I hope and if you dont have me added then please send me an email or message with your gamer tag, friend code, time zone and i will do my best to add you right away. Talk to you all soon.

Ok, so I successfully transferred ALL my DLC/Import/RBN songs to my PC manager and updated DLC Quick Play so others can compare songs.

Redeemed all my codes and tried to get more without success LMAO. Hope to see some of you online soon so we can jam.

Hey Dan, would love to hook up and jam sometime. I see a bunch of people playing on line, but I've only had one invite in 2 months. Everyone must be in a band now or something.

No we are not in a band lol, but you can invite us and use Skype to see who exactly is online and ready to play... we can get a session together anytime i see you on, just give a hauler and also get your butt back on skype so others can add you and jam with you.

Doesnt matter what level you play or what instrument. I will add you to my skype and I have all the instruments so you can just choose what you would like to play and I will find something else to play... then we can jam.

I was tempted to see if there was much point to trying to play online. I'm brand new to the series and mostly only able to play on hard. If me being inexperienced and still learning the game is fine to anyone I'd prefer to handle any fc exchanges through private messages rather then on the board.

On bass/guitar I average on hard mode, with some songs being able to be fc'd on expert and some still failing me on hard. I still need to get my pro mode guitar but they are pretty hard to find. Using some old gh3 gibsons since my rockband guitar dongle was bad (got them used at garage sale)

On keys I average onto hard mode, pro keys averaging medium to easy difficulty still depending on song.

Drums I'm halfway between easy and medium, I still lack my cymbal kit for pro mode and finding the right one is just a pain atm. It's just the kick pedal still getting to me until I get the muscle memory to use it without needing to think about it.

Vocal/vocal harmonies... I'm just bad at still even on easy. Plan on learning it eventually though.

For the most part I enjoy playing songs I can barely manage to avoid failing simply for the chance to challenge myself to keep learning and improving my play... went from getting 3 star on easy songs to gold star on expert but some songs still kick me to the curb ("llama" how I hate you! lol). But failing a song for me is still perfectly fine learning opportunity for me still when trying to tackle songs I can't handle yet and I have no concern about leaderboards.

Welcome to the site Misanthrope, I dont mind playing with anyone as I mentioned. I play x-bass only. I'm not the best, but like you it's fun trying to get 5 gold starts all the time. To get friends, you will have to post your friend code for your system like the one in my sig.

Some songs on Rock Band 3 I dont do very well at, but I have a lot of DLC. Go to DLC Quickplay.com to see who has what for songs. Hope to jam with you soon.
