Hmmm, I sorta want to be able to wear it outside the house. Also, I dig those retro-looking headphones.

For the money, it very tough to beat the Grado headphones. Check out the SR60's or SR80's depending on your budget.

Check out Sennheiser. They make some nice 'phones and might have something that will fit your budget.

The Sennheiser buds that came with the Rio Karma were the best cheap earbuds I ever had, sadly they were stolen and I'm not sure what the model was. I am now using Sony headphones, I think they are the MDR-EX85LPs, they are ok, I really hate the way the cord is set up and whenever it gets yanked my left earbud falls out. But they sound decent enough when they are in my ear right.

Earphones are horrible, I refuse to use them.

Nice choice. Awesome too, cause Ive been looking for nice big headphones to listen to Abbey Road with...

I prefer them when outside the house, but I understand because you are sacrificing sound quality.
