We're listening. When someone posts, I get an email so if I have something to add, I will reply.
Regarding support from Harmonix, I think you may have to specify what you mean by support.
In my experience, Harmonix has been very supportive. They have even been known to share surplus promo items to those that run events regularly.
Having said that, I would ask folks to set their expectations appropriately. I think most people do, but the last thing I would want someone to do is request help or items and be disappointed or worse vengeful, if they don't get the response they think they should get.
If you reach out to Harmonix on running RB events and get a response, good. If they offer to send some cool stuff your way, brilliant!
Even that I think is above and beyond.
They have a lot on their plate.
My recommendation would be to check out the Rock Band night at the local Boston Improv (you might even see me there on occasion).
Also, Pax East is coming up and if you cannot make it to the show where you will be face to face with many HMX folks (introduce yourself, tell them what you do), you should keep an eye open for a public event they host the Thursday night before. Again you will have a chance to say hello and participate.
You also have us so if there is a specific question you have, please ask. We probably forgot the specifics of most of what was covered already, so we'll likely post an answer rather than tell you to go read the previous posts (even though you should review them).
Lastly, I started RockBandNights.com to track active events and get the word out.
My calendar is featured at RockBandAide.com: http://www.rockbandaide.com/calendar/
If you have a web page, facebook page, or twitter, please share so I can stay up to date with you and your events.
That goes for everyone else too if you'd like your event or venue to be tracked.
