Actually, I wouldn't define touchy political subjects as being not-kid-safe, depending on how it's handled. I'd definitely consider The Great Debate a kid safe track, despite the fact it's on a touchy political subject, and it's somewhat anvillicous in the sense of - "Hey, look! We're doing a song on a touchy political subject!!!" For that matter, "One" by Metallica is on a touchy political subject - one they took from "Johnny Got His Gun" (War is pointless). However, if the song on the touchy political subject tends to go profanity heavy or get into the realm of Nightmare Fuel, then you might want to think twice before letting the kid listen to it.
