I've brought a video to demonstrate the loudness I want. Nothing necessarily has to be broken mind you, though I will probably crack my head against the ceiling, but I want people covered their ears or screaming at one another to have light conversations.

This. I guess with Kaz being gone, I better start exercising my bass pedal foot for that weekend. What if you hear Boston from Boston, would it be an epic fail?

You know you're not only one who can drum for that weekend as we got Ben and Nate confirmed so far for the full thing. That and it's NEVER a matter of skill for things like this as much as it is making sure the song sounds like it should.

ANYBODY can drum a song regardless of skill level, thats why there is an Easy, Medium, & Hard setting for every song. Hell, on Medium even I kick ass. And you guys realize there's gonna be literally hundreds of other people at this convention right? :p

I may have to bring earplugs like an old man. I regret not wearing some to a recent show at the Gothic, as my ears were ringing for a good 36 hours after.
Last night actually seemed louder than your standard Applebee's setup. Surprised nobody's requested a volume adjustment. I guess management's a bit more into it at this point, though the non-roadie participation seemed a bit more limited. We had a good time, though! (Sarah paranoia at being called to work never played out, though we left early)

Hundreds? Yeah, probably. Seems they're pulling out all the stops; I caught an ad for the convention on the radio on the way to "The Neighborhood" last night.

As for tonight, well...
I/we need to cut back on expenses, but I may just have a "double dose of Rocker" in me. :cool: (wrong movie reference, I know... but quotes from that other movie are unknown to me)
