Do i need to calibrate CRT tv?
I have a standars 32" 100mhz CRT TV. not a fancy hdtv ( that i want of course) But do i need to calibrate the game with that tv? I have try to calibrate many many times, And i get diffrent numbers everytime, 0 sometime, 53 sometimes. help please. I can guess that i need to calibrate the sound, becourse the sound dont come from my tv but from my 5:1 system. Can someone cast a little light on this.

My CRT TV works spot on with 0/0 calibration. However, I have played on some CRTs that need some calibration to them.

As said, if you feel like something off, calibrate.

I would definitely say calibrate your sound since the point of sound calibration is for fancy sound set ups like yours.

Just upgraded to LCD but my previous TV was a 30" Sanyo CRT widescreen model. I found with it I had to use very small video lag settings (anywhere from 15 to 40 ms); most 4:3 tube TVs we hooked our console up to (ie, parties at friends) worked better with no delay (0ms).

Always calibrate. Always. It takes just a minute and makes things better. Almost no setup (even CRT) is a natural 0,0.

Trust me. Worth it. Do it.
