Leaving out the keyboard bit I would certainly buy this game if it existed, with or without the Beatles. (Beatles aren't really needed because of their own game.)

Another idea I'd like would be be "Rockband: One Hit Wonders." So many great songs to choose from in that genre. They'd probably be cheap to license too.

Can't ever see that happening really, though the points are valid. If anything, in the near future we will probably get a game like, say The Beach Boys: Rock Band which would make use of the harmonization feature in TB:RB and even dreamscapes, it would be the closest thing to a "sequel" per say.

I'm still anticipating more DLC, even if no annoucments have been made and thats good enough for me. I'm just very thankful that this game even exists, never thought I would see the day that it would.

That's incorrect. The limitations are due to the hardware. No game on the PS3 or X-Box features photo realistic graphics because neither platform can handle the kind of processing power needed to generate them.

Right. Just like releasing the catalogue on CD wasn't necessary because everyone already owned the albums... and releasing re-masters wasn't necessary because everyone already owned the '87 CDs.

When Rock Band 3 comes out, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

My only concern is with getting a Beatles game that contains most, if not all of the original discography. If that means creating a Beatles: Rock Band 2 that would allow for import of Beatles: Rock Band 1 songs into that game and combining the new stuff, then fine. I just want all the songs. The "how" is pretty irrelevant to me.

That is not true. Have you not seen Afrika? A pretty convincing photo-realistic simulation. And No, you do not need to have 1080p or higher for photo-realistic.
Also, you can easily just play movies instead of generating graphics and many games have done this on lesser hardware in the past.

A Keyboard peripheral for Rock Band would be ace, a Saxophone would be cool too. And here's a suggestion for a sixties-theme game: "Rock Band: Woodstock"

Still, if HMX wanted to they could have gotten pretty close. They could have at least done graphics as good as something like Uncharted 2 but they didn't for a reason. Like I said before, they experimented with many different looks for the game and in the end they purposefully chose something that isn't super realistic.
Besides, if you want photo realistic graphics you would have to wait until new consoles are released. And as I said before, by that time every Beatles song would have already come out.

CD's and videogames are two very different things. Why do you think the songs were released on CD? Because that was the new technology. Do you expect people to continue listening to songs on record. No, that would be silly. There is a much bigger market for CD's then there are videogames. Most people aren't going to shell out $450 to play all the Beatles songs on the next xbox just to get better graphics (since you can't seem to tell me any other actual features they could add). Heck, by then, for all we know, music games (as we know them) may not exist or be popular any more.

For the third time, what are some actual things YOU had in mind to add to the game (other than better graphics)? If you think this is such a good idea, you must have ideas for what they should add to make this worth $60.

Patiently waiting for new TB:RB DLC and Rock Band 3! :p
