Indeed, if it wasn't for the filter (yes, I KNOW it's supposed to be for the E10 rating...still would have liked the option for unlocking the filter anyway :p ) and the inability to export RB2 into Lego I'd totally just switch to LRB :)

The cow and the minotaur popping out had me laughing out loud while trying to play drums. Totally fun.

    This.

I like the customizable rockers better in RB2, but gameplay (for us unpatched PS3 folks) is better, I like the tour structure a bit better (not the linierness, but how the setlists are setup), customizing everyone and everything is fun. My only other fix would be to allow the Teleporter to send you to any venue, as swapping vehicles gets old after a while.

This is ultimately the best answer.

Absolutely. On a personal level, I love the Lego cutscenes and characters; however, obviously they're not for everyone. I absolutely adore the minifig versions of my band, though, and some of the features/tweaks introduced in LRB are fantastically wonderful. And then, the Rock Power Challenges:

    Ghostbusters ftw.

I agree with redback: The Ghostbusters challenge is the awesomest, although Tick Tick Boom is a friggin' sweet song and I am very happy it made it into the game. Also: dude, you're demolishing a building with the power of rock. How is that not awesome? (It isn't quite as awesome as clearing out a haunted house with the frigging Ghostbusters theme, but honestly, can ANYTHING match that level of awesomeness?)

I haven't played regular RB since getting Lego RB because of the star tracking.
No lie... I actually didn't think it mattered to me that much, but after seeing it 'back' I just couldn't understand why it was ever removed for RB2.

Has everyone forgotten that Rock Band 1 didn't show scores in Quickplay at all?

    I didn't forget.
I can see why some people might want the score info, but I can see why others (like me) might want the stars.
The way RB1 and RB2 did it (just stars in 1, just scores in 2-at least initially) baffles me a bit.

Lego, and the Beatles, both showing both is what makes the most sense.

At least we know we can be pretty well assured of having both stars and scores displayed in RB3.

Fighting a giant octopus to Sum 41was the best imo.

The story is really fun and pretty looooooong. I've been playing it for like a week, few hours every day, and just got to unlock the teleporter and there's still a lot more to go. Thanks God it did import half of my DLC and half of RB1 to the game so don't have to play the disc songs 50 times over and over...lol...If I wouldn't have any DLC & RB1 i doubt I would have the patience to play the whole story. Once I finish the story I'll put it away on a shelf and maybe put it in once in a while but will play RB2 that has the songs in it.
