I must admit I'm pretty slow. I've just now noticed that the guitar players don't wear any straps. Their guitars just kind of float under their arms. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this common to other RB games?

I guess this is by design so that the game software can re-use the players' images and mix up the different instruments each can play. For example, the same acoustic guitar sometimes is played by John, sometimes by George.

(I've also just noticed for the first time Ringo's humongous red ring in the Shea stadium scenes)

Not only is it common in Rock Band games - that's how it works in all rhythm games. It's got nothing to do with mixing up who plays what. It's just to prevent object clipping. That's why their instruments aren't plugged in either.

Been around since the first Guitar Hero. It's especially amusing when you see John walk into the Cavern Club stage and plug in an invisible wire onto his amp.

I was actually wondering this myself... I thought "oh my god how are they holding their guitars up so well" but I never thought it was cuz of graphics xD

They must have strong wrists to support the weight of the guitar and the force of their strumming. lmao I didn't know the technology existed back then

The technology to hold guitars up and strum without a strap? I don't think it exists now.

The thin side is always facing the TV screen.
