yeah, they're great, but not like "OMFG STOP EVERYTHING, IT'S THE MOUNTAIN GOATS"

I'd like to make these three statements now:

I find both The Shins and The Mountain Goats to be incredibly average (above average, depending on the album). I do like material from both bands though.

I don't worship any of you.

I'm going to melt some cheese over a copy of Blood Sugar Sex Magik and mail it to afterstasis to see if he's impressed by it.
