    Its a show about the everyday life of a group of lesbians. I watched 5 mintues of the sex and the city movie and wanted to die. Watched 5 hours of The L Word and am completely fine. So if it is a clone of Sex In The City this is the better clone.

    I'm not gonna watch a chick drama that happens to have lesbians in it, but if you say it's better than Sex and the City, I'll have to agree. There is very little worse than Sex and the City.

    I never really heard that, but then again I've never seen Sex and the City so I couldn't draw a comparison.

    Not really, it's writing and cast are far more competent and I've actually seen a season of The L Word (S&TC doesnt have this quality) and no it's not because it has lesbians, the dynamics of Mia Kirshner's character isn't dull or bland to me and well Pam Grier is always fun in it. Some of the social commentary is great and all & all it's a fun splice of life piece.

    Oh yeah, none of the characters look like Sarah Jessica Parker, so.
