I stopped watching after a couple episodes into Shippudden. I was reading the manga at the bookstore I worked at, but when I came to the realization that it was never going to end, I lost interest.
I stopped watching when the characters became inconsistent or at least the antagonist became as dimensional as a Michael Bay character, in all honesty there was a review awhile ago on TGWTG that pretty much summed up my feelings.

Have you actually avoided discussion of how it ended all this time? That's impressive if so. Probably more impressive than how the show ended :p

Watching grass grow is more impressive than how the show ended. At least grass has some idea about where it'll end up without dumbing itself down to the Nth degree and doesn't try to win me over with emotionally manipulative tripe.

So yeah, set your expectations low, that way it can be at least 'not as bad as others described it'.

Myself, I'm halfway through the last season of House. Pretty fun so far, although I'm disappointed a certain incident involving Chase didn't have more far-reaching consequences, and that Park and the other girl (whose name I can't recall) started out really fun but are now slowly either fading into the background or, in the case of other girl, reaching Cameron-levels of holier-than-thou annoying. At least she's both better looking and a better actress than Jennifer Morrison, though (although the latter's not exactly setting the bar high).

    Speaking of poor endings.

Yeah, I've heard the buzz, even if I've avoided spoilers. I'll just enjoy the ride as long as the episodes stay good. At least unlike LOST, House has never really been building up to a grand finale that ties everything together.

That and no House season finale will ever top House's Head/Wilson's Heart anyway.

Yeah, its not as good as Parks and Rec or Community, but I'd lump it in there with How I Met Your Mother as basically being comedy comfort food, that will occasionally be really funny.

It's a great show and I did not like it at first. It has one of my all time favorite gay characters of all time on it. I love how Max is just a guy who happens to be gay and not a gay guy, you know? I can relate.

i miss mission hill's gay couple, they were my favorite. i liked the episode when one of them had the butcher knife stuck in his head and didn't want it removed. also the one when they go to buy condoms for gay sex.

Haha I love the one with the knife. And the other guy just added more ridiculous stuff to it so he would get it removed. I need to watch through that show again.
