Still doesn't work...and what I mean is I checked on my son's PS3 and preview doesn't work for him either.

No RBN previews make it a big pain in the butt to buy songs on RBN.

10 seconds of a low-quality audio file immediately makes you want to buy those songs? Are you serious? Just go on RBA, they always have song previews.. and hey, there are 5 songs a WEEK, when I was into RBN much more (back in RB2 days when we didn't have pro drums, keys and harmonies) I just queued the songs on my Grooveshark profile and listened to them. Not so hard, more quality, etc..


..That's what I'm going to do with RBN 2.0 stuff, surely (and what I still do with the weekly DLC dose).

Another thing.. You have never played RB on a 360, did you? They have DEMOS of the songs, that would be really awesome, who cares about previews?

Nope, but 10 seconds of a song does make me interested (or not) in spending the extra time necessary to look up the song and decide if I do want to buy it.

That would be really awesome, but that is a part of RBN and not something that HMX ever "promised" us.

The point remains that I have a lot of things in my life that I want to buy...whether that is because someone did a good job of advertising to me or whether it is just something I know I'll love. I, personally, don't have money in my pocket for everything I would want to buy. HMX should do a little bit of work to make me want to buy things I don't already know I'll like because they are competing against everything else out there that I could spend my money on.

Any chance that previews of RBN songs will finally be added to the PS3 Rock Band 3 in-game store when the switchover to RBN2 occurs on PS3?

Previews are kind of a big deal. For those of us who don't keep track or follow every week. Not that it matters right now of course...
