I'm not sure if they would joke about it so much if it wasn't coming at some point, they would just be frustrated. But if they know it's slated for release sometime after RB3, they probably find it easy to have a good laugh at people on the forums flipping out.

That is EXACTLY what I think! I think they will give us at least a 6 pack the week RB3 is released.
Imagine the most requested band on the forums to appear on release date with (as mentioned above) the epic "Butterlies & Hurricanes" an other songs. THAT would be a very clever move.
And again: If you are a developer and have a huge community asking for a specific band that has gained a lot of fans over the past 5 years AND YOU CANNOT bring them into the game you would be frustrated - and not making fun of the guys in the community.
HMX knows about their keyboard-plans for at least... say 2 years. They saved MUSE for RB3 DLC. Trust me! Let guitar hero have a fake Matt Bellamy - we will get the whole MUSE awesomeness.

P.S.: English is not my first language.

I haven't bought DLC in so long, but I swear HMX, if you release some Muse DLC I would gladly sell you my soul to buy some!
Since RB3 comes out in October, there probably won't be any out before I go see them at Staples in September eh? =/

Okay, I'm setting myself on a goal. As soon as I can nail Hysteria's bass part on tuba, HMX will give us more Muse :D

In case you guys haven't heard they're showing Muse's performance at this year's Glastonbury on Palladia tomorrow night. No clue if its the full concert (they said its highlights from all 3 days) so it probably won't be but Muse were EASILY (lol I crack myself up) the best show at Glastonbury so I imagine they'd focus a lot on them.

    Also: WEMBLEY next next weekend!

So let me get this straight. We have Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, a crap load of country, and f****** Snoop Dog, NONE of which represent rock at all, and yet we only have ONE song from Muse? Something is clearly wrong with Harmonix here. If the game is called Rock Band, the game should have ROCK music. Not country, not pop, not rap, ROCK, and I mean classic, alternative, punk, hard, metal, funk, heck even pop rock and glam rock etc... All of these country, pop, and rap songs can go on Band Hero for all I care. Harmonix needs to stop releasing Top 40 Itunes crap and things that just don't belong in Rock Band.
