I'm saying this based on the attention that Muse is attracting in the request section.
There's hundreds of threads requesting just Muse, and tens of thousands of members supporting them.

It's undeniable that Harmonix has the attention of these people. Yet they've made no advance.
Although, at the recent Pax East event, Harmonix challenged the crowd to raise their hand if they bought "Hysteria", then challenged the crowd to raise their hand if they bought a Muse album. The count went from all to nil.

So it's clear that they have the crowd's attention. We're just waiting to see what they'll make of it.

Well, wish I was there. I'd've had my hand up... I have -all- of them. EPs, Singles, Albums, Imports, etc. You name it, 99% chance I've tracked it down and got it. Yeah. I'd like MOAR MUSE in Rock Band because I'd buy those songs too.

More MUSE in RB might get me playing keys again. Or trying the pro-guitar again (my fingers do not agree with chords... ugh.) Or trying harmonies.

Perhaps they should have asked how many had illegally downloaded a Muse album? ;-)

The odd Muse worship on this site reminds me of that Chuck Norris obsession that sprung up so long ago on the internet, where people focus in on something terrible that no one cares about and then won't shut up about it. I'm assuming all this Muse support is meant to be ironic? Because no one owns a Muse album for the same reason that no one owns a Barenaked Ladies album -no one actually wants to listen to that.

Umm...people own Muse albums. I have all 5 albums on vinyl, plus the "HAARP" DVD/CD combo.

I wish people wouldn't come in here and be ignorant trolls.

+1 to that. I mean seriously, did you even think before you posted that? Do you know what platinum certification means? I'll put it simply for you, it means people "actually want to listen to that". Go look at some of their accomplishments before you start slandering them and their fans.

You can stop making that joke now. You made practically the same joke a while ago in a thread on the RB General section.

First of all, I don't think that this thread would have been going as long as it did if "no one actually wants to listen to that". Troll or not, you're downright wrong.

Secondly, if sales figures and awards aren't considered a show of public approval to you, then I don't really know what you're thinking. Muse have sold ten million albums, been nominated for 92 major awards, and won 35, including a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.

Lastly, some people do like the Barenaked Ladies.

    No Muse this month.

John Drake - "So you don't get your crazy hopes up about the ONLY band you EVER listened to, no Muse in May. BUT OTHER GOOD STUFF. STOP CRYING. STOP IT!"

So who knows if the information is accurate. If it is, it's no wonder licensing Muse would be a pain in the ass and expensive.

That said, I HMX would easily recoup the licensing costs given the demand for Muse content.

Looking at the links... looks like it would be licensing hell... and I see that Garbage (another band with only one song in the game) would be in that same situation as Muse. Ouch.

    He misspelled 'life' as 'May'.
