Just like there was no way in hell that indie Arcade Fire band would ever win with a sound like that!

I really have no clue what's going on. What's up with these people that they turn down so many requests for one specific band? They don't even care to tell why. Are they trolling? It is obvious that adding more Muse would cause a drastic increase in income. They seem quite annoyed by the requests to, which I personally find quite frustrating. They are annoyed by requests that they don't even care to tell why they ignore. Even this huge thread with tons of support is being completely ignored and has been for a long time. Heh, they say that ignorance is bliss...

I don't follow the Grammies, so I don't know or care how many it won and how many previous albums didn't. Besides, it was probably more like an honorary award to acknowledge years of the band being shunned. I wouldn't look too deeply into it.
Perhaps I should've just stuck to experimental and not described it as "less mainstream" (in hindsight, "unconventional" is a more fitting word). I agree Undisclosed Desires is very mainstream, but I couldn't picture a pack of braindead chavs listening to Exogenesis Symphony or United States of Eurasia.

They've told us that Muse is 11th or 12th in terms of requesting. I don't see you getting up in arms over the other 10/11 artists that are being treated more 'unfairly'. On top of that, requests don't mean ****. A ton of requests doesn't guarantee an in, a lack of requests doesn't get you ignored.
Can you name ONE time where they've said directly why they're not working with an artist, or are you going to continue feeling entitled and special?Quote:
They don't even care to tell why.

"Actually, last time we pulled the stats from the song request page on RockBand.com Muse was just outside of the top ten most requested bands.
One of the things that we were trying to highlight with the list of most downloaded artists is that the RB community is HUGE and what the forums ask for isn’t always the same as what people at events ask for which isn’t always what people download, etc.
There’s a lot of smaller pieces making up the larger community and we’re making an effort to talk more candidly about some of that information that will help everyone get a better look at the big picture. Glad folks are so interested in this info!"
