A little late, but Muse was amazing at Lollapalooza! I didn't actually get in, though... Sold out before I had a chance. However, I got a great view from atop a tree across the street!

HMX will offer a special Live version of Muse's 2001 album Origin Of Symmetry for Rock Band 3 using the audio from the band's "Hullabaloo" DVD recorded that year, in celebration of the album being played in its entirety at the 2011 Reading and Leeds festivals in England next week.

Just re-posting this here to share with those who might not venture into the prediction thread.

Granted, I made that post to have a bit of a jab at HMX and how if we were to get Muse at this point it would likely be live tracks (since they love to release live tracks because the forums love them), but what started as a piss-take wouldn't actually be all that bad.

There's an uproar at the moment about the BBC's broadcast of last night's performance at Reading Festival. It was originally promised that the whole set would be played, however all but three of Origin's songs were left out at the last minute. The BBC are pointing the finger at the band, saying that they requested it, but it makes no sense (especially as the muse.mu newsletter made a point of mentioning the broadcast). It reminds me all too much of the same ambiguous crap we've been putting up with for the last three or so years regarding Muse DLC for Rock Band.

I'm just glad I was lucky enough to go to Reading (and I was near the front for the majority of the set), but way to **** on the hundreds of thousands of fans around the world who couldn't attend.

I need more Muse. At LEAST one more song, or enough to play a tiny setlist to relive part of their live show. Hysteria is so much fun to play, and it would be so bomb to follow it up with another epic song of theirs like Fury.. or Newborn.. or.. or Map of the Problematique.. or.... *puts on headphones*

You know, if Knights of Cydonia were released as DLC, I'd buy it.

Makes you wonder at what HMX did to piss MUSE off so much...

In HMX's defense, Ubisoft doesn't need the masters for Rocksmith, which makes it a lot easier for them to get the songs they want, but still I find it hilarious how horribly inept HMX are at getting Muse songs.

I think we need a "blowing brains out" emoticon, because that's what I feel like doing.

HMX is really, really f*cking depressing me here.

I have no faith in them anymore, and until they release AT LEAST a Muse 12 pack, they aren't getting any more of my money.

WTF HMX. That's all that needs to be said.

On a different note, why Unnatural Selection? I'm surprised something like Knights of Cydonia wasn't picked.
