I think you're over thinking it, Witt. It's just Muse being Muse.

Hell, The Resistance was intentionally meant to be a concept album, but they lost the plot 4 songs in.

When do you see any of the track packs mentioned in that thread being released? NEVER!!! And yet it still gets so many replies? Wow that's a waste of thread (IMO) xD

I am sorry to say this, but that's sometimes what it feels like posting here as well. I personally don't know why I'm still doing this. Perhaps it is for a faint hope or perhaps to keep the thread alive just for the honour of Muse and to give HMX a symbolical message (not in an offencive way).

I say to keep it up, most people (including myself) thought we would never get a studio version of a Paul Di'Anno era Iron Maiden song as "Iron Maiden" was a live version from Flight 666 in the 1st pack. Last month we were proven wrong when a studio recording of "Phantom of the Opera" was released as RB DLC.

Sure based on the past 4 years it seems unlikely but it's still possible.

It will either be awesomely spectacular or spectacularly cheesy.

No matter what, I'm excited. New Muse song = happy RBR.

HMX HAS to release this song on Rock Band.

    The instruments are great.

I thought it was absolute rubbish.

I wish they'd abandon all the string/choir nonsense from The Resistance and give us something like Origin or Absolution again.

They're still world class performers live, but I've felt as recording artists they've generally been on a steady decline since the 4th record.

(then again, I loved Neutron Star Collision -so what the hell do I know?)
