Any other guitarists in here? I've been trying to learn some Muse songs, but they are actually more difficult than I had expected. Most songs sound so simple, but are really hard. Likewise, the hard-sounding songs are difficult, like "Stockholm Syndrome". "Hysteria" is a ***** to play the solo for me. "Plug in Baby" is just crazy. I can play "New Born", but not the triplets. I can't play galloping songs like that, so I just play the first note.

Also, "Knights of Cydonia" is extremely easy to play. It's an amazing song, though.

You know, that's pretty funny because I can play Plug in Baby like nothing. Knights on the other hand...it slays me. I'm horrible at tremolo picking. I don't know if the picks I use or to thick, but I get about three strums before my pick goes flying across the room. And I've been playing for almost seven years now.

I guess that just proves the different strokes for different folks theory!

Man! Lots of drama since I've been gone! Hooray for haters! Anyway, here's my late responses!

Hysteria and Eternally Missed have killer drum tracks imo. I love that "chugging" kind of drumming. I also (of course) really like Knights of Cydonia as Dom just goes nuts during the fills. And I really like the drums on Bliss, especially on the intro when everythign comes in at the same time. I like how the drums mimic the guitar part. Oh yea and the Intro on Absolution has is great as well. The ominous, marching sound really sets the mood for how epic the album will be.

Hey man, you forgot Mitch Mitchell from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Neil Peart of Rush, and Keith Moon from The Who!

Please, please, please let us not break out into a Europe Vs. America/Canada fight? They're just silly.
I would have been fine with waiting another week, but getting them this week is pretty cool. It's not hurting anyone; some people are just being stuck-up, is all.
In a couple weeks, the European tracks are going to be just like any other DLC track; people will be happy, people will be unhappy, and most likely the same people are going to have the top leaderboard scores. It's really not worth making a fuss over.

Anyway, back to what we love to talk about here: Muse, and other vaguely related topics.

@ Vicious136: I guess those particular drum tracks went under the radar for me, but now that you mention it, they are pretty awesome.

I've been learning to play Falling Away With You on the guitar. It's a lot of fun, but I always enjoyed that kind of picking-type thing.

I guess I'm a little late for this, but eh.
Some days I'm good at tremolo picking, and some days I completely suck. Yesterday was one of those days; I was playing through New Born and I got to the solo and my pick kept turning and tripping and flying a couple feet across the bed.

    It's a "boy".

Honestly, you have no idea what's going on with this band and their fans in Germany... it's terrible. Just like their music.

Yep... it's a man. I have never heard Tokio Hotel, but I'm not very excited to hear them, considering the things I have heard.

Part of what makes it so brilliant. (And a must-have!)

    Edit: I feel special; my member title went and changed on me. @_@;

it'd actually be really fun to play that on Rockband actually. But I'm more of a guitarist/singer so. lol

Pff, and what about the solo? A challenge and a joy for guitarists everywhere.

Plus, I'd love to sing it. It'd be epic, fun, and a great way to exercise my lower-than-recommended-for-the-female-voice vocal range.

Also, as I am typing this, my title seems to have returned to normal. Hm.

I know the piano parts to New Born, Starlight, Apocaplypse Please, and Sunburn, plus Feeling Good, although the last sounds odd without effects.

I meant to reply to this earlier, but I keep getting distracted from everything today.

Do you know of anywhere that has the notes listed for Apocalypse Please? I see there's a few places that have sheet music available for download, but I really can't read it. I'm good to go if I have the notes in front of me though.

    I worked out the C# octave to F# and the F#, A, C#, F# to F, G#, A#, F for the intro, but now I'm stuck.
