Hmm...
Well...Bah...I dunno. I'd probably end up a little disappointed with Absolution as DLC. I'd prefer a 6 Pack with some of the good songs from each album, or BH&R/OoS over Absolution.
Still, more Muse is more Muse, I guess.

I'm almost done with Inferno and then I shall start on Purgatory. As for the game, I've seen the preview and it looks ******ED. It has absolutely nothing to do with the book (other than stealing its title) and it comes off looking like another God of War clone. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if they had called it something else and claimed it was influenced by Dante's Inferno but to claim that it is the book in video game form is just a flat out lie. If one were to really try and make a game based on The Divine Comedy then it would be something like Myst or Oregon Trail, not a stupid 3rd person action game with quicktime events.
But back to Muse, I really hope this poll thing is a hint about what's coming down the pipe. I don't expect Friday's announcement to be Muse but I would love to see some Muse DLC before the new album hits.
Hmmm. I think your 'suspicion' could be correct, if we do get an album of course. This is because Harmonix has had a trend for releasing albums with songs already available in the game (Ten, Chinese Democracy, Peace Sells, Doolittle, Colour And The Shape and Moving Pictures kinda)
Thing is, Absolution would be awesome, but I would prefer Origin Of Symmetry as a studio album. Particularly for New Born, Bliss, Hyper Music, Plug In Baby, Citizen Erased, Micro Cuts, Darkshines - plus Feeling good would have a very wide playing audience.
However I believe it would be a sin not to include KoC and Stockholm Syndrome for their sheer epicness. Which is why i would really prefer HAARP. It would be good if they could put the whole setlist into RB instead of cut versions like on the CD and DVD.
More or less a logical deduction if anything, the time it's been taking to release more Muse songs has just been way too long to just warrant say a 3 or 6 pack given the high demand. If the poll is right and they're hinting at releasing more Muse then the time taken to make charts would pretty much be enough for at least a full album's worth of charts. So unless they're going to give us a Best Of pack like they did for The Who then I'd bet that we're getting Absolution since technically Hysteria was an on-disk song (for the EU release) and they've been doing full album releases for bands who had songs that were already on-disk.
They're no Konks, but I could go for some Muse.

But back on topic... do you guys think HMX latest poll could mean Muse album? :)
