I think it'll be about earth after the 'New World Order' has risen to power, joining everyone and everything into 'The United States Of Eurasia'. 'The Resistance' will be the freedom fighting force (led by Matt Chris + Dom of course ;)) that will be secretly planning to rise up against the New World Order. Perhaps the Symphony could be the 'final battle'. This would obviously be very typical of Matt.
I think the theme could mean that this album could be more heavy and dramatic than BH&R. I'm thinking Absolution-esque (particularly Apocalypse Please) except with more synth and experimental craziness.

Can't wait for it to be released :D:D:D:D

When Muse updates their Twitter, I get a text message on my phone...I woke up to the new album name this morning. That was an insanely awesome way to start my day.

So The Resistance is the next full-album DLC then? :p

Another week goes by with no Muse DLC... :( Anyways, I think I'll be getting both Zombies songs, and "Linger".

Random fact: I've recently spoken to someone in a professional capacity who went to the same secondary school (UK High school) as Muse. Hes been out of the country for 6 or 7 years and couldn't believe how popular they are. He said they were arrogant at high school, and noone thought they would ever get anywhere as they always sounded bad when they were practicing.

The Resistance is such a fricken awesome album title. I'm also going to go and make this album name to something Bonez believes in.

Terminator Salvation and John Connor is played by Christain Bale who Bonez thinks is Matt's twin.
