Yep!
We just found out from the label over the weekend that Bring Out Your Dead will be the first Strung out track :)

Now that Sub Pop Records is once again on the table, I can resume my offerings of wine, incense, and livestock for some Fleet Foxes DLC. A herd of cattle to whoever brings Ragged Wood to the PS3.
with subpop on board, does that mean we will get some of my earlier requests, namely-
The Afghan Whigs
Mudhoney
Screaming Trees
I want more Shins so bad.. i've been thinking we were due for more shins but knew subpop left.. but now my dream came true. :D
Amazing announcements! Hopefully nothing falls through, but if it all works out, I will buy just about everything you guys named! Also, I didn't realize Strung Out was coming too. Are you guys working on getting Calling? That was one of my favorites in GH:WOR. Also really happy to hear that thfirst COB tracks you're doing were the ones that were in the GH games. Keep up the good work!
You are correct. We weren't able to license Strung Out due to its inclusion in Guitar Hero. Why I don't know, it really doesn't make sense to me but whatever.
I saw that on the twitter feed too. That's just awesome. Just saw them for the second time on tour a couple of weeks ago doing two of their older albums and it was an awesome show. They did the entirety Of Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues and Twisted By Design (somewhere hmxhenry weeps if he missed this tour) and this song was covered. Mind if I suggest if you guys get another Strung Out song that I suggest Matchbook, since Calling is out of the running and besides, Matchbook is usually their final set song and far far better of a song than Calling? Oh, and have you guys tried going after Face to Face or Lagwagon from the same label iirc?
not sure if you can answer these questions, but:
1) Is this Sublime or "Sublime With Rome?"
2) Can you say anything about how many Sublime songs, or which albums they come from maybe?
as a child of the 90's Sublime is one of my all-time favorite bands!
