    System Xbox 360

After the system update and format change, every time I start RB3, a black border appears around the screen during gameplay. This hasn't happened before the 360 update.

There's an option under system settings called "video overscan". Check that to zoom the image in slightly, removing the black border.

For the past 2 months or so, I've been getting frequent crashes. I'm on PS3, and this seems to happen randomly with no particular cause. I should also note that this problem ONLY exists in Rock Band 3, NOT Rock Band 2.

Yup, that's the XMB crash. Whole thread about it in the support forum. If you're playing solo, just sign out of PSN. It helps.

That was patched out of the 360 version in the last patch, as it was an exploit, so no, unless you want to pay for an XNA account and play in audition mode.

Also, no, HMX will not create anything like GHTunes. Specifically because they don't want to deal with the hassle of monitoring user created content. RBN requires the people submitting the songs that all legal rights are owned by the submitters (or the bands who contracted the submitters).

As Bront20 says, if you want to make customs, then sign up with XNA and go nuts. Just don't submit them for review.

you never been in a metal show ? cause they use a lot of strobe light, so i think its really normal to have some in heavy song such as for metal, progressive rock...

I am requesting Rock Band instruments be sold on this website because I don't feel like spending two hundred bucks on eBay for a new set of drums and $90 on a dual kick pedal. http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Rock...3844358&sr=1-2
