This is annoying me now. I've been waiting patiently for ages and it's still there, mocking me! I've sent an email to them, I've waited around on the main menu for ages and nothing happens. I wouldn't be so bothered if it was an achievement that ended on 5 or 0 but it's 6! Can anyone please help me?!

I'm in the same boat. I linked my accounts together. I'm seeing updates on RockBand.com for my latest songs played. I'm also getting the weekly posts showing my best songs played for the week on my Facebook page. But the achievement isn't unlocking. I've played the game many times since linking (it was a daily ritual for weeks for me) and still no achievement unlocked. What's up, Harmonix? I purchase song packs, I've purchased each of the Rock Band titles. I've purchased extra instruments... Would appreciate some response or update to fix the problem. Thank you. =)

I had the problem... then i went to the Dashboard... logged out, started the game, then logged in when it asked and I got the achievement

I still didn't get the goal. Please HMX, do something about it.

Judahin might have unintentionally stumbled onto a fix, but I’m not sure if I can confirm it. I’ve been having the same problem as everybody. Linked, no achievement. Unlinked, relinked, tried hitting start button at menu, no achievement. Cleared cache, did all the tricks everyone posted in here and still no achievement.

However, after reading judahin’s post, I figured why not try what he posted. I will post exactly what I did:
1. While in game, I unlinked my account.
2. Dashboarded and signed out, while signed out re-linked my account.
3. Booted game –WHILE- signed out.
4. Pressed start to get into game, then signed in using the in-game context option. (I did not use the guide button to sign in)
5. The moment I signed in, I got the achievement.

I certainly hope this helps someone. This has been driving me insane since the moment I found out the achievement was glitched, and I certainly hope this can help some of you out of this annoying problem.

*sarcasm* By the way, great job EA/Harmonix. Way to stand behind your game and provide fixes to serious known problems. I have a huuuuuuge amount of respect for you now. *sarcasm*

GUYS THIS DOES WORK! i just tried it and got it. When you go to start the game WHILE YOUR ACCOUNT IS UNLINKED, AND WHILE YOU'RE SIGNED OUT OF XBOX LIVE RE LINK YOUR ACCOUNT WITH THE CODE THAT YOU WROTE DOWN. Then sign back in with and press start ass soon as your account is logged in. Thank you Kerwyn2112

Wow, that's seriously amazing. XD I'm glad I could help. It's sad how such a minor in-game detail can decide the unlocking of an achievement, -.-

If anyone gets confused on the steps I posted, please say something. I'll be sure to check back occasionally. ^^

Thanks again judahin! Without your post I would've never thought to use the in-game sign-in to try and get the achievement to pop.

OMG! This works for Ps3 as well, but a bit different since the Ps3 wants you to activate a profile before starting a game so here's exactly what I did:

1. While in game, I unlinked my account.
2. Dashboarded and signed out, while signed out re-linked my account.
3. Pulled the network cable and signed in (activate main profile)
4. Start the game, press start when asked (NOT x)
5. In the main menu, plugged the network cable and Presto!
