signed into my rock band account before i used the code, everything was tracked, no acheivement. (didnt expect it to) used the code, nothing changed. still tracks everything perfectly, but still no acheivement, and ill admit it, im one of those people who waving a 4 or a 9 at the end of my gamerscore is annoying me

Hey guys, this is what worked for me, I put in the code and just let it go. About 3 or 4 days later when I booted up the game, it worked. I also have it installed into my hard drive if that might change anything.

Hi! I have the same problem. I found potential solution on some site. Is says:

Some people (outside USA I assume) clicked on the "Get Goal" on the "International Visitor" popup that appears when you go to rockband.com This has been badly made and causes an issue where a fake account is created (named Gamertag__Linkingcode....mine was Davehx__BBFFHJGJJYF or whatever my code was) THIS ACCOUNT gets linked to your game rather than your real account. Then when you try to link again, it says the "code has already been used".

A developer, HMXFED, is deleting these accounts (or the links in them) if you PM him, allowing you to relink correctly. "

Okay, I've done absolutely every known trick at least 3 times each, waited a period and then tried again and absolutely nothing has happened. It's not on my tracklist on the site either...

For me it says that my gamertag or code is invalid. Any ideas?

Wow, I actually did what @sleepynow did (Press "Start" at the Press Start menu) and it worked. What @sleepynow said, HA!

me either. its been going on a week and neither my wifes profile or mine has gotten this achievement. ive been all over rb.com. no one seems to have a definitive 'this will always work for everyone' fix. really annoying. not because i care if my score ends in a 4 or a 6, i just want that extra 6.

Been waiting for my achievement for 3.5 months. Any updates, Harmonix?

Same here, and I'm on PS3.

Everything else is linked up (all my gameplay, etc.)


What gives?

Sorry for not going through every post so far, but the proposed fixes haven't worked for me. Has there been any word from Harmonix or Microsoft on this issue? Is there a recommended method to get their attention for this ridiculous bug?
