I finished the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy. Read all about it.

Completed REmake yesterday saving both Barry and Chris. End time: 17 hours 49 minutes
I really need to pick up the pace if I want to finish within 5 hours or even 3 hours. I did spend a lot of time doing nothing mostly because I was obsessing over unburnt, undecapitated zombies coming back as Crimson Heads.

Well, onto Okami Wii edition. Couldn't wait for the Okami HD, plus I already played it with a PS controller in my hands. My only gripe with Wii is how hard it is to register a straight, horizontal line for the basic slash attack brush stroke. Oh well, practice practice practice.

I'm also currently in the middle of playing Chaos Rings II when I'm not playing Dawnguard or Batman: AC (so lunch time and times when it's too late to be playing Rock Band). Squenix had a sale on the first two titles (CR1 and Omega) last Christmas, and they were crazy addictive. CR2 is similar gameplay-wise, but it mixes it up enough to feel newer.

I'm almost done with my first play-through, and it's been a lot of fun so far. Requiring the player to be an utter b-----d is a nice touch which I'm certain will have an awesome payoff further down the line. The actual plot's about as insane as the other CR games, too.

You know, much as I complain about Squenix's pricing tiers, I really would pay $20 or so for a game like this on PSP and consider it a bargain. It's a damned good PS2 game that just happens to be on iOS.

Now if only the voice acting were a separate download. Too many dramatic pauses (some of which are at the beginning of their line and last several seconds, which is kind of confusing when you're expecting to hear dialogue), and it's all in Japanese anyway.

    Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations

Got this back from my friend recently so I've been reliving some moments to test my memory. Finished Recipe for Turnabout with hardly any trouble at all. Skipped Turnabout Beginnings and jumped straight into Bridge to the Turnabout. Why is Iris so cute?

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations is the only video game that has ever made me cry.
One of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

End of case 5? And to answer my own question, probably because she reminds me of who I was just rejected by... I probably shouldn't play it for awhile then.

A QTE without the notation for which button to press, a Super Meat Boy level with horrid draw distance and an anticlimatic shmup segment.

Couldn't have been a worse ending, but at least the rest of Rayman Origins is ****ing awesome.

Trials and Tribulations is a fantastic climax to the original Phoenix Wright games. Out of curiosity, have you guys played Ghost Trick yet?
