    Pokemon Soul Silver

Restarted after watching a random review of the original. Current team is Quilava, Kadabra, and Flaaafy. I just beat Whitney and her vile Miltank. At first it was Kadabra vs Clefairy who used metronome and got Attack Order, swarming Kadabra with bees and instantly killing him. This moment beat only by my first Playthrough where Clefairy rolled and used Roar of Time.

I haven't played any games for a while now... I guess you can say that I've become sorta detached from it.

If my memory serves me correctly, the last game I played was Batman: Arkham City.

My brother lent me Assassin's Creed Revelations. I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would except I'm a little disoriented with all the powers I spent getting in the last 2 games and forgot I had when I started this one. Another thing that surprises me is there is a lot of variety to the missions, I'm honestly impressed.

Totally buying the 3rd as soon as it comes out!

nice review. pretty much agree with all of it.

those big 4 armed guys aren't in the game?! ;_; i was hoping i'd see them later on.....

and yeah, the space monkeys. annoying as hell, while also easy as hell. it's basically just waiting outside their range till they jump within shooting range and then shoot them >_>

    Spec Ops The Line.

All I can say is WOW. I thought it was a mediocre COD/sniper game. I played it on a suggestion and I think it may be my favorite single player game in a long time.

The soundtrack itself is amazing: Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains, Mogwai, Jimi Hendrix, Bjork.

Single Player story is perhaps the best story this year, including novels and movies. It's a mixture between Black Hawk Down, Jacobs Ladder, and Fight Club. Probably the most depressing story in a video game since Silent Hill 2 imo.

Gameplay? Third person cover shooter, almost like Gears of War. Don't let that fool you, the missions are interesting, a couple in particular in regards to landmarks will blow you away.

This isn't just a normal shooter, I'd recommend this game to anyone who appreciates a good single player. Deserved to be a contender for game of the year, too bad it was overshadowed by cookie cutter shooters that are running stale.

Extra Credits made a two parts analysis of Spec Ops: The Line, it's very interesting.

I'm down. I've been looking to get back into military shooters, but I'm mostly a single player person, and while Call of Duty and Battlefield do an adequate job, I've been looking for something better, so this sounds good. I'll give it a shot.
