Well, the continued Spartan Ops are supposed to be free, so I'm quite sure I can play them. I'm just wondering if I get XP for completing them (I'm connected to the internet when I play, but since I'm Xbox live silver, I don't know if I get XP).

I'm not sure, I really do swear I heard Spartan Ops wouldn't be playable, if you didn't have XBL Gold. Also, yeah it's true Spartan Ops season 1 will be free, with the purchase of Halo 4. If there's a season 2 it probably won't be free. I doubt there will be a season 2, because they said they'd continue it if it was popular. I see only about 10 000 people online playing Spartan Ops with other people, compared to the around 300 000 people at any given time playing competitive multiplayer matchmaking. The way I tell this, is before going into a match you see how many people are playing each Spartan Ops mission/game mode for multiplayer.

Oh and I almost forgot, I do get XP for completing Spartan Ops in single player, the only difference is I have a Gold Membership, so I can't answer if you'll get XP but I'd assume you would if you can play Spartan Ops at all, without a Gold membership.

I wish I could help more, so I'll check 343's website. But I can't guarantee anything.

Edit: here's a link to some people saying that silver members don't get Spartan Ops, I don't know if the source can be trusted though. I couldn't find anything detailing Spartan Ops as unplayable for silver members on 343's website, or Halo Waypoint. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/927749-xbox-360/64537869

    LittleBigPlanet Karting.

Incompetent. The powerups are still really cheap and stifle the already slow speed. Handling is more fluid than MNR but that's pretty much the only improvement. Because characters and karts are limited to the LBP universe, creation is less diverse. And track customisation is robust but complex.

But here's the best bit: LBP HAS AN ONLINE PASS SYSTEM. LBP has ALWAYS been about having the online experience being very strong and built into the package. **** online passes, seriously. The tip of the iceberg is that you can't even buy an online pass right now if you wanted to. Brilliant. Just get ModNation if you're that desperate.

EDIT: After an hour or so co-oping the story, it's not so bad. Customisation of characters can get pretty thick, karts not so much. It's gone from bad to average, but definitely not worth full price, and I'd still give MNR the better recommendation.

    Played some Black Ops II.

The maps in Black Ops II are much better than the originals and way better than MW3. More room, way better looking and all in all an improvement.

Still wonkey as hell going from BF to COD as far as movement goes. Zombies seems as tough as ever and/or I am still horrible at it. (Spoiler Alert) I was not expecting Zombies to come in through the windows!

    Have not touched the campaign.

Walked into a Target and picked up a PS3 hardend edition after being told it was sold out everywhere. They had 4 but would only sell me one... :P

Well, after several days with AC3's multiplayer, I still hate online competitive play. Seems like the game is filled with action game wannabes with no clue how the game works causing everyone else to suffer as their method still rewards them. The whole point is stealth and trying to get the best score with each kill you make, yet time and time again, everyone else is always rushing around at mach speed hellbent on getting just the lowest possible score for their kill so they can rack up kills or pad out their K/D ratio.

With everyone running around it's near impossible to get a decent kill on them so I'm forced to lower myself to their horrendous playstyle to even have a chance. Plus, they love just sitting on rooftops, which may make them easy to spot, but it's a guarantee you won't get a decent stealth bonus since you can't really blend in with the crowd when none of them climb rooftops.

I was initially pleased in the tutorial when no compass was present but of course that sticks its ugly nose in again for a majority of the game modes. I would play nothing but Deathmatch without the compass if the map wasn't so small and the element of blending in wasn't completely removed due to no look-alikes.

Oh and the whispers are just fantastic. No matter how well I blend in, my target always knows I'm near so if anybody comes even remotely close to them, they just toss the almighty game breaking smoke bomb and say "F you and your stealth."

Brotherhood's was okay but it still is just a crap shoot of "who spawns closer to who." And the rewards have microtransactions so I don't even get my prizes for leveling up until I grind for in game credits or go the cheap "pay to win" method of real money transactions.

    Never again.

People who go for 100 point kills are not your enemy. Let them have their "BOOM! Headshot!" in peace (as an aside, I automatically mute everyone when I start a game).

Rooftards...yeah, they're a little harder to deal with. But they're not in every game. Just try finding a new session.

Those 100 point killers are always hindering my progress at the worst times. I could be inches away from my target prepped for an incognito bonus when this lulz killer runs up behind me wiping me out or due to my sixth sense, forcing me to expose myself and run, giving my target a free escape.

I just bought the gun to help deal with rooftards, but 100 points is still 100 points whether I'm chasing them or just sniping them. I know what you mean about muting everyone though.

I have no idea how a stealth-oriented game like Assassin's Creed got so popular with the 12 year old Halo set. Those kids probably don't even know about the Thief series.

Because that little M in the corner of the game box apparently stands for "Multiplayer."
