PAX East seems like a good window, being in March. Gives the companies the better part of the year to wrap up everything.
Xbox 360 was announced in May 2005 and released in November 2005.

I've been trying to get more achievements on Super Meat Boy, because apparently I love being pissed off, lol.
Both my 360's work, I got one in 2007 (the pro version), and one in 2009 (the arcade version.) Though the 2007 one gives me a few problems now and then, like when I put a disc in, it sometimes acts like I haven't put any disc in and does nothing. My Arcade one works like it's brand new though.
Well, the New Bungie IP has popped up early. Hard to really tell this early, but I am pumped about their new game.
Yeah, it looks like it could be very interesting. I heard in some other review that it would be a lot like Halo. I can't wait to hear more information on it.
I just bought and played Doom 3 BFG Edition. I had never played a Doom game before, barring an XBL Demo of either Doom or Doom 2, I can't remember. I played through one of the parts of Doom. But when I got to a part with a green downward pointing pentagram, with a devil's head on it. I entered it, then teleported to a dark room with a ton of enemies and died. I then played some Doom 3, I'm not very far into it yet, but it's been fun so far, as with Doom. I've yet to play Doom 2.
The last I played and finished would be Dishonored, which went very well.
It's generally considered one of the most influencial shooter games of all time. Verticality in level design, Enhanced lighting, and the overall badassery atmosphere took people by surprise. The gameplay for the first 2 haven't aged very well though - there's a lot of tedium in that AI. Doom 3 is significantly more modern, and sort of has a Dead Space-y vibe to it...or perhaps I have that the other way around. Anywho, they're definitely worth playing regardless. Enjoy :pQuote:

Is Doom the one where the developer took out an ad about his next project saying he's gonna make you his *****? And then it flopped majestically?
That would be the infamous Daikatana. Gamers shiver at the name.
