The Walking Dead game

Just finished up the last episode and I have to say, one of the best games I've ever played. Feels like you're playing out a movie or TV series. Very good plot and story, emotionally gripping as well. The only bad thing is it's glitchy as **** and can mess you up when you're dropping frames and you're in the middle of a timing challenge. More than once I was killed unnecessarily because of frame rate drops and glitches.

And based on the comic? Absolutely not and people that say otherwise obviously have not read the comics at all. It's weird how they advertise it as being based off the comic. The show is more wrapped around the comic storyline than the game by far. The game is a whole separate story itself with all new characters and whatnot. But yup, this game goes down as a must-play in my book. Look forward to season 2 and the other Walking Dead game based on the TV series which is also due out later this year.

Robert Kirkman must be one happy (and rich) man right now. :p

When they say the game is based on the comic book, I think they mean it is simply based off the Walking Dead universe.

No you arent. If you are you havent seen anything about the game. The one thing I can say about it is that Im sure its gameplay will be better than Telltale's TWD gameplay.

Eh, I can see that, still see it as a little misleading though.

And I wonder how far ahead they're going to jump ahead for season 2. Since they confirmed your save file is going to carry over to season 2, it's probably not going to be a whole new story, but rather continue where season 1 ended. I can certainly see a female protagonist this time around, but I don't think it'll be Clementine unless they fast forward a few years when she's older, possibly Christi if that was her and Omid on the hill in that last cut scene, and we still don't know what happened to Kenny... I think it's going to be whoever was on that hill and spotted Clementine, if it's Christi and Omid or not. I didn't see one of them limping so it might not be Christi and Omid after all, but a completely different couple with one of them being the season 2 protagonist.

No, I haven't seen anything because I can't find anything on it. The only thing I saw was the dinky trailer which had no gameplay in it and that it's an FPS and Daryl is the protagonist. Unless there's been more info and gameplay released that I'm not aware of, it doesn't sound too bad so far.

Watched some more gameplay videos, it doesn't look THAT bad, but it didn't look too great either.

It was shown on some IGN feature or something a few weeks back and it looks terrible. Ill try and find a link when I get out of the shower.

I'm watching some gameplay videos now on YT, it does look pretty bad, but damn, it sounded promising. Stupid Activision wanting to make a quick cash grab, big name FPS and ruining what could have been a good idea.

It's alpha/fan-made footage or something. It's not real.

The trailer was fan made using the footage that was shown on that IGN show thing.
