Can anyone tell me what the correct settings are for an LG LED tv as I cannot get the game to calibrate at all?

I can't help you with the actual numbers, but here are some good guides to help you get them yourself.
First, watch this video to understand what the numbers mean, and follow his advice for manually calibrating the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GZdZX9f_-U

It will take some trial, error, and time, but I find I get really good results doing it this way.
